Top Ten Tuesday is held by The Broke and the Bookish and involves lists and books, two of my favourites. Today's topic is one I'm super excited to talk about - 2015 books I'm anticipating. To be able to write this post, I decided not to focus too much on the upcoming debuts because otherwise I would have struggled even more than I did. Plus, debuts will be getting their very own post in early January. So stayed tuned for that as well! Now - let's chat books:
The Devil You Know by Trish Doller - I’m such a big fan of this author and I’m always anticipating her next book. This looks creepy (good)!Dahlia Adler books - Under the Lights - I really enjoyed Behind the Scenes and I have a feeling I’ll like this even more than that one. It’s LGBT, plus have you seen that gorgeous, diverse cover? My Name is Everett - This is Dahlia’s book of her heart and for that reason alone, I want to read it. So far all I know is that it's set at a boarding school? Colour me intrigued.
Sophomore Year Is Greek To Me - I’m not one who usually gravitates to younger YA/Middle-grade, but I read Freshman Year & Other Unnatural Disasters in 2012 and was a fan. I’m hoping this is just as fun!
Unbreakable by Robin Talley - Robin's debut was a thoughtful, important book that I enjoyed. I'm not the biggest historical fan, so I'm so excited she's a doing contemporary and again, it's an LGBT. Yay diversity!
What You Left Behind by Jessica Verdi - Loved her sophomore novel, The Summer I Wasn't Me and can't wait to back track and read her debut. Sounds great! Plus, male POV.
Sonny by Kody Keplinger - I’d been hanging out for a new Kody Keplinger YA this year, but it never came. So yay! 2015!
The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord - I was a huge fan of Open Road Summer, so I can’t wait for this one. The story sounds amazing.
Great list, I'll have to add some of these to my TBR for sure - I haven't read To All the Boys I've Loved Before yet but I'm certain P.S. I Still Love You will be going on my TBR regardless :)
ReplyDeleteThe Start of Me and You is also on my list, for pretty much the same reasons as you've said, as is The Devil You Know. That last one looks super creepy, which I don't usually read, but it's Trish Doller so there's no way I'm skipping it!
Great list! I'm really looking forward to The Start of You and Me, The Devil You Know, What You Left Behind and P.S. I Still Love You!
ReplyDeleteThe Revenge Playbook sounds really interesting too, I'll have to check it out :)
You have some great ones on this list. I love so many of these authors.
ReplyDeletehere's my post
Thanks! I also have a $30 giveaway going on, so be sure to check that out.
Great choices! I can't wait to read many of these as well - The Devil You Know (Trish's writing is so lovely), What You Left Behind, and The Start of Me and You. Happy reading, lady!

The Start of You and Me is such a nice cover, just like her debut novel! I also cannot wait for Under the Lights--cute cover too!
ReplyDeleteGreat list there! <33
I didn't know Kody Keplinger was coming out with a new book. OMG I AM SO PLEASED. *goes to goodreads immediately* I really love her books and style and everything. x) I'm really really excited about all the big ones coming out, like Sarah J Maas' new books and Ensnared and the next Starbound book. But I'm also excited for All The Bright Places finally being released! :))
ReplyDeleteP.S. I Still Love You! YESSSS That ending killed me! I love all of Jenny Han's books <3 The Devil You Know is also on my list :)
ReplyDeleteWait...wait...there's a new Kody Keplinger book in 2015?! Thank you for letting me know! *proceeds to freak out*
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that cover of The Start of Me and You is absolutely divine! I haven't heard of not only any of these books, but none of the author names apart from Jenny Han ring any bells either. Clearly I need to vary my reading a little more. I've just added a few to my Goodreads TBR list, What you left behind sounds so incredibly unique. I can't remember any other YA with a teen single father. I can already tell I'll be a mess reading that one.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant list Rebecca and thanks for adding a few new titles to my TBR for me <3
LOOK AT ALL THESE CONTEMPS! I want to read The Devil You Know so badly! It looks fantastic. And I am looking at the Emery Lord read. It's appealing to me a little more than Open Road Summer (just because I suck when it comes to road trip books lol)
ReplyDeleteGreat looking reads! SO many books! :D
