Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols

Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols

HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO?
All Meg has ever wanted is to get away. Away from high school. Away from her backwater town. Away from her parents who seem determined to keep her imprisoned in their dead-end lives. But one crazy evening involving a dare and forbidden railroad tracks, she goes way too far...and almost doesn't make it back.
John made a choice to stay. To enforce the rules. To serve and protect. He has nothing but contempt for what he sees as childish rebellion, and he wants to teach Meg a lesson she won't soon forget. But Meg pushes him to the limit by questioning everything he learned at the police academy. And when he pushes back, demanding to know why she won't be tied down, they will drive each other to the edge -- and over....

Review:
After reading a couple of Jennifer Echols books and enjoying them very much indeed, I couldn’t wait to start Going too Far. If you like Echols and her work, check this out!
Awesome stand-out characters. I instantly liked Meg; she had a wild personality, and cool blue hair! I enjoyed watching both her and John grow throughout the story.
The pace of the book moved perfectly, and was never predictable. Jennifer  Echols writing drew me in and made for an effortless read.
When Meg and John are getting to know each other, it was just so funny to read about. I couldn’t help but let out a laugh. The chemistry between the two was brilliant and made for an interesting show!
Whilst reading the story, I felt for John. And wished Meg didn’t have to push his buttons and screw with him as much as she did. But that was just the type of person she was; strong minded, a stirrer and not the type to back down. Sometimes she ended up going too far, hence the name of the title.
