Blogspiration (7): The History Boys

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation & just a little SOMETHING.

Though I have never read The History Boys and probably never will, I can certainly appreciate this quote. YES. ONE THOUSAND TIMES YES. *happy sigh*

You know those times when you’re reading and you come across something you’ve often thought about yet you’ve never mentioned to anyone, it’s just something you’ve pondered and thought about quietly, yet here it is, someone else’s thoughts that resemble your one, printed on paper and binded together in a book. Wow.

  1. Oh, wow. I love this so much! I've never read 'The History Boys' either, but this quote is so true! It's definitely happened to me. In fact, in the book I'm reading right now ('Once Was Lost' by Sara Zarr), practically every other sentence is a moment like this. Love <3. Thanks for sharing Rebecca! :)

    1. It is. Apparently there's even a movie for The History Boys so when I heard about it, I watched the trailer and the quote was mentioned :)

Aw, no worries, Celine! Glad to help spread the blogspiration ♥

  3. I love when this happens, it's as if I've become book soul mates with someone.
Although I think I have a lot of book soul mates LOL.

  5. LOVE this!! Completely agree <3 <3 That's why I am a quote girl :P I love quotes! I could read them all my life and never get bored! :) One of my favourites in these days is:
I do trust you, is what I want to say. But it isn't true - I didn't trust him to love me despite the terrible things I had done. I don't trust anyone to do that, but that isn't his problem; it's mine. - Insurgent

    Beautiful blogspiration!
